According to an update to the Google Workspace for Education storage space policy, you will need access to the new Storage Space Reporting and Calculator Information Center by July 2022, theView your storage space quota.<\/p>\n

Greetings! Starting in July 2022, we'll be offering Google Workspace for Education to all existing customers!<\/strong>adoptionNew shared storage space model<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0The<\/strong><\/p>\n

We would like to help you understand the new storage space policy through this email.<\/p>\n

How does this affect my unit?<\/p>\n

New Google Workspace for Education Storage Space Policy<\/p>\n

Starting in July 2022, we'll adopt a new storage space model for educational institutions, offering a basic 100 terabytes of shared cloud storage for all users to use together. Specifically, 100 TB of storage is enough to store more than 100 million documents, 8 million presentations, or 400,000 hours of video. With the new model, theOrganizations can easily manage storage across their entire domains to more effectively control storage usage in Google Workspace for Education.<\/p>\n

You also have the option of purchasing\u00a0Google Workspace for Education<\/a>The upgraded version of theEducation Plus Edition<\/a>maybeTeaching and Learning Upgrade<\/a>(math.) genusBoth versions provide basic storage space on top of existingMore capacity.<\/strong>If you are interested in participating in the beta test or purchasing a new version of Google Workspace for Education, please contact your Google for Education contact or\u00a0Google Workspace Education Edition Preferred Partner<\/a>The<\/p>\n

Customers who have signed a three-year Education Plus Edition contract in 2021 or have renewed their current older Education Plus Edition full domain subscription (G Suite Enterprise for Education) through 2023 will have an 18-month grace period after July 2022 to continue to enjoy unlimited storage through the end of 2023.<\/p>\n

What do I need to do?<\/p>\n

It is strongly recommended that you calculate the amount of storage space on your domain to determine if you are a good candidate for a new version of Google Workspace Education.<\/p>\n
