Introduction

The National Institute of Transportation (NITU) is a public tertiary institution located along Mabibo Road in the Ubungo Light Industrial Area, west of the city of Dar es Salaam; just 1km from Morogoro Road.NIT was established in 1975 as the training arm of the then National Transport Corporation (NTC).NIT is responsible for enhancing the human resource capacity of the NTC subsidiaries in the areas of transport personnel and middle management. management personnel of NTC subsidiaries.
